I like the legacy robots-style decks. Although, I feel like Tezzy, and the eight arcbounds are a bit slow and low impact. From what Falcon had said (input here, falcon?) legacy robots is basically the same as modern robots, except it has the arti lands. Or I could be way off base and talking about a different deck entirely

Yeah I'm trying to find suitable replacements for the Arcbound creatures...
I completely disagree on tezz though. I can drop him on turn four, ultimate on turn 5 for around 20 damage, and gain around 20 life... Honestly I think he's a monster...

Truth. However, and I know this is the age old question for every card/ability ever, what happens when they just go "Ok. Stifle/FoW/Daze?" I'm just thinking the four mana could be spent on something like Etched Champion. T3 champ, t4 equip plating, swing. However, he also falls prey to FoW/Daze. Not really any way around that. I just think something like that is less resource intensive and less... squishy? Maybe that is the word I'm looking for? haha Don't get me wrong!! I like Tezz, I just don't know how impactful he would be in Legacy. To be fair, I've never actually played Legacy; just giving my view on things

Have you considered things like Chrome Mox or Mox Opal? They really get your manage production online super quick. Also I can see tezz as a possibility. Idk about as a 4 of though. Never played legacy bots but thats my thoughts. Silent is right that hes kinda squishy though.

I've never posted any of my decks online before, but here's my almost finished Legacy deck! Creature (20) 4x Arcbound Crusher 4x Arcbound Stinger 4x Ornithopter 4x Steel Overseer 4x Vault Skirge Artifact (8) 4x Cranial Plating 4x Springleaf Drum Instant (4) 4x Galvanic Blast Planeswalker (4) 4x Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas Land (24) 2x Academy Ruins 2x Darksteel Citadel 4x Glimmervoid 4x Great Furnace 4x Inkmoth Nexus 4x Seat of the Synod 4x Vault of Whispers Any thoughts/ideas? This deck needs the following: 4 x Arcbound Ravager 4 x Mox Opal 4 x Thoughtcast I would also consider adding some sol lands (Ancient tomb) and memnites. Tezzeret is awesome considering 3/4 of your deck is artifact. You can get him out early too... Sol land and spring leaf drum and mox opal are great acceleration. You'd be getting turn 2 Tezzeret frequently.

Silent: tez is a monster in this deck. The funny thing about this deck though is that no one card is great so it's hard to pick the right cards to counter, tez ends games.. But so does Arcbound Ravager and etched champion. Champ with a cranial plating, when all the cards in play are artifacts is gg.
This deck will often lose to combo though, so sideboard accordingly. (Flusterstorm, spell pierce, mind break trap, phyrexian revoker (also an artifact, make sure you know what card to name in common matches), ethersworn canonist, etc)

Yeah I haven't decided what exactly to sideboard yet, but I think I want a couple of Surgical extractions.

I'm not so convinced on Arcbound Ravager.
Sure, he'd be great if I was running a lot of modulars, but I don't see the gain. I could sac all my artifacts and make him beast, but thats assuming opponent has no blockers. I'm probably just missing something, but...
Also, mox opals are going in, I just don't have $200 to drop just yet haha.
Thoughtcast is going to go in too, just don't know what to drop out to make space yet.
Also considering {ensnaring bridge}. The combo with that, {ornithopter} and instant speed plating is beast. I played a match and my opponent cast it. Gave me the win haha.

Even after blocks are declared, so you wait to see if a creature is not blocked and assuming they don't have a kill spell in hand you sac everything to Ravager then sac Ravager to the unblocked creature, usually game winning.

EDIT: I just figured out what you meant... have at least two ravagers, attack with them and say, etched champion.
Etched champion cant be blocked, so sack all my other artifacts to one ravager, then sac him to the other ravager, using the modular to move his counters to champion.
I wasn't thinking about the modular part of him, just the sac ability...
Yep, he's in.
