Wall games are online forum games played between two or more players!
Here's how it's done!
NAME: Put the name of the poster, format, and who you want to play against (if specific) FIRST POST: Say format, competitive level, starting roll, amount of mulls, etcetera. Then, alternate between posts for turns in this format:
Untap upkeep draw Play spell or activate ability or equip (or other such main phase things) Attack Attack with *creatures* Then wait for blockers to be declared before you continue, with another Play spell/activate ability/etc Pass Life total/untapped lands/cards in hand Like this 17/4/2
Be sure you follow all the rules of the format you're playing, and don't pressure someone into playing!

but I've always wondered what about instants that the opponents has, especially counters, do they say afterwards if they use an instant and the other player will rewrite their post accordingly?

Also, if all players have Skype, with a webcam, that's very helpful.

Yeah, depending on how competitive or tricky you are being, you can say "Giant Growth. does it resolve?" Or you can go less formal with "giant growth, then another giant growth, then swing for 7, then pass". If you do that you give them extra information, and its honors system on backing up, like whether they doom blade or counter it early. But usually I post the whole turn unless I have or expect that they have tricks. I discourage people from editing posts, since then the responses don't always make sense, I prefer re-posting the turn corrected for responses. But it works either way.
