Hey all, I want to start a long running game I remember from way back when. I make a card (two word minimum name) and the next person has to use the end of my crads name as the start of their cards name. I'll post two cards, to show what I mean. I'm not putting much effort into them, juts trying to get us started, but hopefully you all will show me up. First, Grumpy Warden (3)(W)(W) Creature-Human 1/3 Other creatures you control gain Shroud. If another creature you control would die, instead return that creature to the battlefield and sacrifice Grumpy Warden. You kids get back here, you're going to be the death of me one of these days!Second card would be: Warden of the Deep (4)(U) Creature - Merfolk 0/4 Blue creatures you control gain islandwalk. If Warden of the Deep dies, sacrifice the creature you control with the highest power. I will hide our Great Ones until Thassa returns her protection; I only hope I will be there to witness her return.Make sense? Next poster's card will start with the word "Deep."

Deep sea Land- Island T: Add U to your mana pool.
Blue creatures you control have first strike against nonblue creatures unless your opponent controls an Island.

Sea of Dreams (U)(U) Enchantment Whenever an enchantment comes into play under your control, you may return pay (1) to return another enchantment you control to its owners hand. (1): The next enchantment card you cast this turn can be cast as though it had flash.
The skilled dreamweaver can visit any number of possible worlds. A Master can find her way back.

I love the cards with pictures! I will have to try to figure those out when I have more time.
Mechanation ruler needed to start with "Ruler", since the prior post had that as the last word, so I will post as if you had named your card "Ruler of Mechanations"
Mechanation Force (7) Artifact Creature - Construct (1/1) When Mechanation force enters the battle field, copy it once for every artifact creature you control. When another artifact creature would enter the battlefield, it instead enters as a copy of Mechanation Force. The walking office supplies were cute, until they found the supply closet.

Long delay, no one wanted to make an ass clown or ass elemental?
Well, I like making less un-cards, though un cards are TOTALLY FINE for this, so I'm going to bend the rules if no one objects.
Assumption of Innocence :2::w::u::b: Instant Each creature you control that has not dealt damage to an opponent this turn gain protection from the color of your choice and hexproof. Regenerate those creatures. Look if you have proof and fill out form 77b, I'll look into it. Otherwise, move along.

Helix Fossil Mana cost 4 Legendary Artifact
Whenever a creature you control deals lethal damage to another creature, put an anarchy counter on Helix Fossil. Then, if Helix Fossil has five or more anarchy counters, sacrifice it and put a 10/10 legendary creature token named Lord Helix onto the battlefield. It has indestructible.
Tap: Scry 1
"RED! Now isn't the time to use that!"

Poly, don't you see? When fighting them Mono -a mono, I will Interrupt their plans and Enchant the World.
(please tell me I'm not the only one here old enough to get the joke in my flavor text)

Hunt the Damned (1)(W) Sorcery Target Angel you control fights target black creature you don't control.
Overload (3)(W)(W): Replace "Target" with "each."

Hunt the Damned (1)(W) Sorcery Kicker: (3)(W)(W) Target Angel you control fights target black creature you don't control. If Hunt the Damned was kicked, replace "Target" with "each." question: why have it be Kicker instead of just Overload? That said I love the card! Mark Rosewater said that they wanted the World Eater to fight every creature, but the rules guys stopped him.

I thought of that card a while ago... I like that it could be used to handle one creature an opponent has, or you can have all your angels fight all of theirs haha. Multipurpose.
And I forgot about overload.

I like that card! I like targeted graveyard hate, and this seems balanced.
Spire Gollem (6) Artifact Creature - Gollem Reach First Strike Protection from red spells and effects. Protection from blue spells and effects. Gollems take on the traits of their materials....lets look past the periodic table, shall we?

Oops! I make it a 3/4. i know low power first strikers are rare, but I think it fits. And at six mana it should be good....this is just a sideboard card at best at 3/4, but I wouldn't want to make it too OP.

A LOTR YMTC thread would be awesome...you should start one.
Precious Wisdom (8)(U) Sorcery Search your library for an instant or sorcery and put it in your hand. Put the remaining cards back in your library in any order. Knowing what you need is often more valuable than the power to acquire it.

WG1
Precious life
Sorcery Look at the top four cards of your library . You may reveal a creature card from among them and put it in your hand . Put the rest at the bottom of your library . You gain life equal to its toughness

Does it require some rewording?

You gain life equal to its toughness I like this, but maybe as a 4 drop? 3 drop draw filtering plus a little bonus seems a bit broken.

I'd say the casting cost is right on curve

I love getting feedback and while this thread is more of silly game land, I would love if there was advice and discussion as well.
