EDH is the only format left that is reminiscent of the 'good ol days' for me. Where a game lasted longer than 6 turns, you could have a grand ol chin wag and you had to 'save up' for that spell in your hand. Yep, there can be only one. Meanwhile, the tumble weeds speak for themselves so far in the last option in the poll Exactly, standard may be what wizards pushes, but EDH is like the Spirit of MTG lol This ^^

EDH is what got me back into magic.
7 decks, all sleeved up, would be 8
(In order of origin)
Scion of the Ur Dragon - dragons bro Trostani - tokens and very hard to - kill Lazav Dimir - mill and discard central Cromat - Legends and Elves Atogatog - artifacts (took apart) Merike ri Berit - anti-competitive deck (you wanna lock down? we can winter orb) Devyri - Bant preassembled (the loaner) Sliver Overlord - Sliver wrecking ball with Miley Cyrus sleeves
In construction/conception: Melek or Riku (want R/U mainly) Mono green (no idea what commander is) Artifact part 2 Horde of Notions Uril the mist stalker - enchantments! Bant angels Kaalia Golgari - Sac sac sac!
I build my decks in mind for multiplayer but some pummel fast in 1v1 (T4/T5 traumatize with lazav out lol)
I won't be building any French commander decks unless I see it start to really pick up in my area, too much of a different format than the original multiplayer concept
I really dislike "lock" decks as it ruins EDH, it also makes that person the number one target for EVERY MATCH, gets really boring IMO.
Prefer planechase FFA and also no alliances. Kill everyone or be slayed yourself!

It took me a while. I think once someone plays or even watches a game they are hooked. It is hard to describe though, and it sounds overly complicated if you've never seen it (commander damage?)

I convinced my friends to build EDH decks, because I destroyed all of their little standard butts with my legacy deck... Currently running Mayael, Doran, and Oloro.
