I was going to be kind of aloof about it, but I realized it might become somewhat of an issue. Would everyone be okay with using titles solely for various achievements attained by members?
I.E. Something for trusted traders, something for members who originated on iMTG, and so forth.

Will we be using the trusted trader list from iMTG or will it be brand new?

Probably building off the old one, unless someone has a problem with that.

I prefer having trusted trader titles and the like BUT if you want your title to be something else, that is not an achievement and that title is approved by the community, then you may adopt that title instead. It's like that Hannah montannah song, ya dig?

I can see the value in that, but I'd prefer it to be one or the other, simply because new members, seeing titles like Trusted trader etc., may assume they all have some kind of community meaning, you know?

What is the non-iMtG accessibility of this? Obviously, everyone here found out about this through posts on forum past, but what is the chance of some random person stumbling across this forum?
This was posted in relation to flicker's post haha.

The larger it is, the higher it will show on searches.
Also, I can pay to have ProBoards advertise for us. Which I would totally do, once we have a full-fledged community going.

I know there's an upgrade feature, which I believe gets us our own domain (removes the 'boards' from the url) and adds other features, and its $50 a year. I'm not sure if that includes any advertising. But, there are advertising packages available, not sure of the cost.

Well we should wait until we get completely situated, with all the tiny links worked out. That way new users can run into open, loving arms, and not into someone who is trying to fix something.

Probably building off the old one, unless someone has a problem with that. Without being over suspicious, I think we need a new one. Anyone can look at imtg and then come here with some old thruster trader's username. not that I suspect anyone here, just saying.

I like the idea of our title being whatever we wish.

Is it OK if my title is Keyblade Master! I'm feeling particularly nostalgic at the moment.
