But on a serious note.
I think issues should be resolved via trials.
After a trial has been conducted, the Mods should discuss amongst themselves what should be done, if anything.
If for any reason, a Mod has to ban anyone before trial, it should either be temporary until a trial has been completed or able to be challenged (whichever you guys think)
If a punishment is challenged, the community will discuss it, and based on their consensus, the ban will either be upheld or lifted.

heyyo, its IceScythe. since a lot of my friends are staying and alot are moving to this forum, i guess ill be in two places at once as for rules, i have a few ideas 1. be respectful 2. community is law, judge, jury, and executioner, not any one member of the community 3. have fun AT ALL TIMES |

The problem with the way 'the app which shall not be named' worked out was because of a person's irrational disposition, not because the system itself was too flawed. Ultimately it's not unreasonable that admins (if there are any besides Dreggman) and the prospective appointment of mods are still the final say. A forum created to avoid abuse can be trusted to not act similarly. Also, we should begin to refer to it as 'the app which shall not be named' |

Also, we should begin to refer to it as 'the app which shall not be named' you are correct, I guess I'm a bit biased towards democracy, but honestly, if everyone votes on a solution and every user's opinion is taken into consideration we will totally avoid an abuse of power seen in "the thread that shall not be named" I don't think we should use all of the old system, perhaps moderator votes weigh more heavily than user votes, but as long as everybody gets their say, I'm happy |
