How was yours? I got 4th place at my prerelease, went 4-1 with I think 2 or 3 losses the whole time. 4 prize packs, and opened an {Athreos, God of Passage} and a shiny {Mana Confluence} in them. I'm very happy!  My bombs were the white promo, {launch the fleets}, and {dictate of heliod}. |

Went to 3 prereleases this weekend and had lots of fun!
First one I chose blue, and ended up with a RUG that featured Prophet of Kruphix into Keranos. It was really fun to play. Ended up in 6th place of about 45, with a 4-2 match record (and apparently some really good tiebreakers)
Second one I chose white. This deck was less exciting but much more consistent, and threw out lots of 3/1's and similar annoyances until it started popping out flying and/or really good beats like Stoneshock Giant and Thunder Brute. Ended up in 4th place out of over 50 people (so close!) with a match record of 5-1.
Third, I chose black. I don't know if it was the pulls, the lack of sleep, or not caring about winning anymore after already doing myself proud for the weekend, but for whatever reason, I threw efficiency to the wind with this one. Chose black and got a ton of really good black cards? Fine, main color is black. Secondary color? Well, I pulled this Kiora and Akroan Horse...Kiora and durdle like a madman with soldiers and dictate I'd Erebos is now my secondary color. Add blue AND green. And it was hilarious. Game 1 ends in a draw after an Akroan Horse lock mills my opponent to win game 2 to tie up the match. I then proceed to move table to table and attempt to get both lands and spells to try to Kiora-Horse-Dictate lock people in the most ass way possible, succeeding surprisingly often. End up in 10th of about 40, at 3-2-1.
Such a fun weekend. Friends, food, cards. Good stuff. Time to sleep for three days.

I forgot that I also had {Bow of Nylea}. That was a fun card. Sounds like fun! That last prerelease sounds like the best. |

Gorzo A friend and I are considering doing 3 prereleases for M15. Do you recommend it? Or was the lack of sleep too much?

I've done the three-time-marathon a few times now. It does consume the whole weekend for sure (sleep, cards, eat, sleep, cards, eat, sleep, cards, eat - no time for anything else but a bathroom break here and there!) but as draining physically and as little sleep as you get, it's an experience worth doing at least once. It's a lot of fun, especially with friends or if you're a regular at your lgs where everyone knows you. It's like a weekend-long gathering of friends!
