This woman I ride the city bus with that I've befriended is acting wierd. Today she asked me if I was getting off the bus when it stopped at her collage. I had already told her I had somewhere to be when she offered to buy me coffee a few weeks before. I don't understand women

First off, yes. Women are weird. To men. To women, us men are typically weird. We're not really any different, though. We just tend to perceive each other that way. Mostly because of how we have been raised, and the effects of societal influence on gender establishment. 2nd, sounds like she is just enjoying spending time with you and wants to spend more time with you, outside of the bus. I think you might be reading too much into things just go with the flow, enjoy time with your new friend!

Should I ask for her number? Let me answer your question with a question (I know, I know, so improper of me!) Do you want her number? Answer that, and you answer your own with it

I've only known her for a couple of weeks. Today she said we understand each other and she has been counting the days sense we've met

I'll ask her to hang out as friends. That way, things don't go to fast for me

Well, I don't know what happened. We exchanged numbers. I saw her put my number into her phone, and I called her today
Except she didn't know who I was at first. Then after I told her who I was, she said she's on the phone with someone on the other line and will call me back later.
I'm not going to worry about it, and am not expecting a call back, and will let her call back sense the ball is in her court. Oh well, too bad
