Another old favorite. I'm looking for good sideboard options; the deck itself works rather well, despite not quite having the mana base it likes best.
2 {Steam Vents} 4 {Sulfur Falls} 2 {City of Brass} 5 Mountains 3 Islands
16 lands
4 {Goblin Electromancer}
4 creatures
2 {Grapeshot} 4 {Reach Through Mists} 3 {Faithless Looting} 4 {Manamorphose} 4 {Pyretic Ritual} 4 {Desperate Ritual} 3 {Past in Flames} 4 {Serum Visions} 4 {Sleight of Hand} 4 {Gitaxian Probe} 2 {Pact of Negation} 2 {Ideas Unbound}
40 other spells
2 {Pact of Negation} 2 {Empty the Warrens} 2 {Burst of Speed} 3 {Wear / Tear} 3 {Vapor Snag} or {Snapback} 3 {Hurkyl's Recall}
15 sideboard
Note: Whenever any of my local shops get {Shivan Reef}s, I'll be running those. I have no intent to run fetches (too much money for me at the moment), and I'll fill out the Vents playset when I get the chance. I plan on replacing Mists with {Quicken} when they become available

Adding {Hurkyl's Recall} and {Lightning Bolt} to the sideboard. Recall is self-explanatory, Bolt against creature issues (like {Meddling Mage} and {Dryad Militant})

Looks good! Have you considered {desperate ravings} over {faithless looting}?

Eh, Faithless synergizes better with Ascension; I can dump more spells into my graveyard and can do it earlier

Adding {Swan Song} as a side until I can afford {Pact of Negation}. Pretty much anything this deck needs to counter is hit by Song, and it's cheap

Edit: This is pretty much what this deck looks like now. Added {Vapor Snag} to the sideboard against aggro, particularly infect, {Hurkyl's Recall} against Affinity, and {Swan Song} against whatever people try to do when I go off.
So far, this deck only fails when I keep a bad hand. Otherwise, it consistently kills on turn 4 or 5, non land permanents optional.

I'm considering {Burst of Speed} in the sideboard to go with Warrens. Less time to react. Thoughts?

I'm considering {Burst of Speed} in the sideboard to go with Warrens. Less time to react. Thoughts? I'd usually say {Mass Hysteria} is better since it adds to your storm count. 2 is the max I'd run.

Thing is, though, Burst helps out as well, and there's less potential for my opponent to get any use out of it like they can with Hysteria. But I'm thinking I will find room for 2 of them as recommended, and I'll likely test and see how they both work in practice I was also recently alerted to the existence of {Defense Grid}. Looks like I have yet more to consider

Defense grid is a no-go. Pact will suffice.
Considering {Snapback} over Vapor Snag in the sideboard as spot removal; free casts are always nice. Pulling Ascension since the deck doesn't really need it. Replacing 2 with mainboard Pacts, the other 2 with {Ideas Unbound}, likely.
Once I have a final idea, I'll modify the deck post
