So, I'd like to add two more moderators. We haven't talked about how to do modship nominations other than a post or two here and there.

It has been mentioned that some people would prefer a "A vs. B" style process, but I'm not really sure about that. If we did it that way, it opens the door to some hurt feelings and supporters of the candidate that lost (as well as the candidate themselves) will harbor some ill will. At least that's my thoughts on it.

My suggestions are for an admin to suggest someone of their choosing, and the community can confirm them or not... In this case, as we are adding two, I'd suggest that Gorzo and I, as the two admins, each select one person we'd like, and each of them get approval from you guys...

Let me know your thoughts on it!

I prefer for now that those who know everyone just pick them (with a short community input period). any kind of voting or nominating can turn bad...probably wouldn't here, but yall would probably nominate the same people, just if we nominate ab bunch, then there is chaff added in the mix who won't "win"

I think the best way to go about it is kind of like you were saying. That the community silently nominates people. I think the best way to go about this is to make a public announcement (as you have done) that you are looking to add new mods. Then community would PM others who they consider to be worthy of a modship. Then the most notable among those chosen would be evaluated but current mods.
