So hanging out with my friends at the renaissance festival today, and who do you think I happen to stumble into but an artist from way back when. Ended up purchasing a print of the original nicol bolas. Had him take a couple pictures if someone could teach me how to imbed them I could show .

He had a couple of his arts with artist prints, which are just the front half of a magic card, before they glue them to the standard back. Too bad nicol didn't have one

There's an image inserter in the top line of squares in the editor, it's, well, a little picture. edit: didn't seem to work for me. Does it work for anyone else?

It works Yeah but did Storm Crow just scare it into working correctly? Back on topic, super cool! Did you ask him why Watsy decided to go with more realistic prints after so long? That was my biggest disappointment when I started back.

I asked when he left and he said right before mirrodin. When I asked why he said it was for creative differences, that WotC were telling the artists what colors to use and such and he didn't like that so he left. Didn't delve too much but I can see where he was coming from. I wouldn't personally want someone telling me what to/what not to use when I draw.

If someone told me what to do like that, my answer would've been "F you, paint it yourself." The artist's artistic vision if why they're hired, after all.

Also got another of his arts he had, was pretty epic "dragon reaper". Was pretty sled explanatory but looked bad ass, now I just need to frame them and hang me up.
