I'll post the first deck!  Thoughts/suggestions are appreciated as usual. UW agro 75 cards, 15 sideboard 2 Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx 4 Temple of Enlightenment 12 Plains 4 Hallowed Fountain 1 Mutavault 23 lands 3 Banisher Priest 4 Precinct Captain 4 Boros Reckoner 3 Brimaz, King of Oreskos 2 Imposing Sovereign 3 Ephara, God of the Polis 4 Soldier of the Pantheon 24 creatures 2 Spear of Heliod 2 Ajani, Caller of the Pride 4 Brave the Elements 2 Cyclonic Rift 1 Detention Sphere 13 other spells Sideboard 2 Azorius Charm 2 Gainsay 1 Elspeth, Sun's Champion 4 Rapid Hybridization 3 Negate 3 Rootborn Defenses 15 sideboard cards |

I love the deck ekann. Would you mind explaining side board decisions to me though as I only played casually for a long time so never bothered with them until recently.

Sideboard 2 Azorius Charm -- RG agro, RG monsters. Bounce their fanatic of xenagos, Detention sphere it the next turn. Also for mono red matchup - lifegain 2 Gainsay -- Mono blue matchup. "Kills" thassa, master of waves. 1 Elspeth, Sun's Champion -- RG monsters - a 1 sided board wipe with elspeth's minus 3 4 Rapid Hybridization -- Deals with protection from white creatures such as Blood Baron of Vizkopa and Stormbreath Dragon 2 Negate -- Counters Sphinx's Revalation, and random other control-y spells 1 Master of Waves -- for fun against the mono red matchup. If I can't get 4 rapid hybridization I'll play 2 of these sidebaorded 3 Rootborn Defenses -- against Supreme Verdict 15 sideboard cards I keep putting curly brackets on these card names... bad habit  |

Deck looks solid. I might slap this together to and bring it to FNM, hope you don't mind.

Just for fun, and because I may not be able to get more rapid hybridizations tomorrow for game day (I only have 2) I'm throwing 2 master of waves in the sideboard. Just for fun against mono red. They won't know to board in skullcracks.

The main board is the same, but this is my current sideboard:
2 Negate
2 gainsay
3 rootborn defenses
2 Azorius charm
3 rapid hybridization
2 master of waves
1 elspeth suns champion

I went 1-3 because of some play mistakes. Also, this deck could use a better sideboard and maybe 1 island mainboard. I had some mana problems. It will need some fixing up before next tournament. On the upside, the best draw I got was against the Horde 32 2/2 cats with ajani. Unfortunately the horde then cast the 3 damage to everything card and killed 36 of my creatures... |
