General autocarding thread. Post your comments, questions, concerns, etc.
All versions of autocard will be somewhere in the comments.

So right now, I've got a working autocard script, the caveat being that changing the syntax at some point down the line would break all the old autocarded links. I believe I can fix this eventually, but for now, I'd like to ask everyone as to what kind of syntax they want, because changing it after something's picked isn't quite feasible at the moment.
Examples include [c]cardname[/c], {cardname}, or anything else as long as the card name will be enclosed on both sides by something.
Once we get enough ideas, I'll have DrEgg create a poll, or if there's an overwhelming majority, I'll just use that.

I think the simpler the better, so something like {cardname} or [cardname], but not [c]cardname[/c]

I agree with Agrus, simple is better. It'd drive me nuts to have to use bb code to [c] [/c] every damned card.
[brackets], [[double brackets]], ((double parentheses)), or {curled brackets} have my vote.

Brackets it is! I think everyone would be okay with keeping it the way it is. DrEgg, I'll PM you the plugin, you can install it or PM it to whichever mod. Edit: Apparently you can't attach things in PMs, so I've attached it to this post. DrEgg, Gorzo, Argus, someone, you can install this through the admin console. I don't think we want karma here- honestly, that seemed to cause more problems than it solved. That being said, if a majority wants one, I'm pretty sure I can do something.
